International Leader in the metals and mining industry has an immediate opportunity for a Piping Department Manager.

Duties include: Manage the Piping discipline providing technical leadership, technical development of staff, developing discipline design practices and procedures, staff evaluations, and staff assignments.

The Manager will also participate in developing scope of work and man-hour estimates for proposals.  Manager will be responsible to conduct quality reviews of project documents.  Manager may also be assigned to project work.

Experience:

• 5 years previous discipline management experience
• 20 years of overall piping engineering experience
• Experience in the piping design of metals processing plants related to copper, molybdenum, gold, etc.

Education

• BA/BS – Mechanical Engineering
• PE preferred.

Software Knowledge:

• MS suite of Office programs, piping programs
