Mechanical Engineering Department Manager

International Leader in the metals and mining industry has an immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Department Manager.

Duties to include: Manage the Mechanical discipline providing technical leadership, technical development of staff, developing discipline design practices and procedures, staff evaluations, and staff assignments. The Manager will also participate in developing scope of work and man-hour estimates for proposals.  Manager will be responsible to conduct quality reviews of project documents.  Manager may also be assigned to project work.

Experience:

• 5 years previous discipline management experience
• 20 years of overall Mechanical Engineering experience designing metals processing plants related to copper, molybdenum, gold, etc. for the metals processing industry

Education

• BA/BS – Mechanical Engineering
• PE preferred.
