Job description
OBJECTIVES/SCOPE
To co-ordinate and control the quotation and delivery of project, services and spares work scopes in an efficient and timely manner. To ensure that all client quality requirements are fulfilled to their expectations. Ensure that all commercial and on-time delivery targets are met.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
-Co-ordinating the quotation process and liaising with manufacturing, engineering, production and third party vendors to provide a quotation in a timely and efficient manner.
-Review contractual requirements of client purchase orders, re-confirm internal delivery and acknowledgement of order.
-Inform internal and external clients of any deviations or slippages on their order.
-Ensure goods are supplied in accordance with agreed requirements.
-Update required forecasting spreadsheet and status report in an efficient and timely manner.
-Continuous expediting of internal & external deliveries.
-Attend weekly planning meetings to advise status of current material orders.
-Manage all commercial and on-time delivery targets.
-Carry out work in accordance with Company Quality System, Operating System.
As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS
Essential Requirements:
-Working knowledge of Word, Windows and Excel.
Desirable:
-Minimum NVQ Level 1 / ONC Qualification in a relevant discipline.
-Working knowledge of SAP.
COMPETENCIES
Essential Requirements:
-Demonstrable experience in sales, materials logistics or office management experience.
-Numeracy literate
Desirable:
-Proven ability of dealing with third party vendors.
-Knowledge in customs, transport and handling.
