Job description
To co-ordinate and control the preservation of all Client owned equipment for CONTROLS & WELLHEAD assets. Working to correct procedures in an efficient and timely manner.
To ensure that all client quality requirements are fulfilled to their expectations.
Carry out periodic preservation as per schedule and rolling stock procedures.
Ensure all system updates within SAP are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
Liaise with Asset Managers / Controllers regularly with regards to anomalies on client stock preservation.
Ensure preservation consumables are kept at a suitable stock level.
Liaise with Clients during stock audits and advise on preservation status of equipment.
Carry out work in accordance with Company Quality System, Operating System.
As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Minimum NVQ Level 1 / ONC Qualification in a relevant discipline preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Working knowledge of Word, Windows and Excel.
Forklift operators certificate preferred
Demonstrable experience relevant to the position.
Demonstrable aptitude for working in a technically biased administration environment
PC literate in the use of word processors, spreadsheets and databases
Ability to work to a high specification in order to improve and maintain quality
Apply a systematic and logical approach.
Be disciplined in developing organisational systems, procedures, rules and norms.
Must have the drive and enthusiasm to work to tight deadlines.
Seek direction and authority from others when and if appropriate, and achieve set goals in a timely and efficient manner.
Good time-management and organisational skills.
Confident communicator both verbally and written.
