Job Title
Equipment Technician
Job Description
Engineering technician will be responsible for multiple activities in support of manufacturing including: maintenance of semiconductor diffusion and CVD equipment, processes and measurement tools.
Technician will work, as part of a team, with operators and engineers to identify problems and their solutions.
Technician will apply knowledge of fundamental concepts and practices of electronics and microelectronics, as well as statistical process control concepts, to maintenance of semiconductor equipment and processes.
The technician must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude; this is required to learn/perform assigned maintenance tasks.
Job Requirements & Education
Experience:
Experience/Knowledge in preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, root cause analysis; ability to perform maintenance in accordance with established procedures.
Applicant must have skills to write clear and concise technical work instructions, as well as demonstrated ability to identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Specific knowledge of semiconductor diffusion and thin film deposition equipment and processes, as well as training in statistical process control is a plus.
Education:
Associates of Applied Science in electronic or electromechanical sciences or equivalent; or military electronic degree.
