We’re looking for a Contact Lens Optician covering New Milton & Sturminster to work as part of a team to deliver total satisfaction to our customers in accordance with our high professional and ethical standards (something our customers have come to expect from us). You’ll help the store grow this side of the business and take an active role in promoting contact lens to our customers.
You’ll act as an ambassador for Vision Express ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer journey.
You’ll use your knowledge to provide advice and guidance to meet specific customer needs on the recommendation, selection and purchase of all types of eye wear and eye-care solutions. You’ll also provide customers with an effective and efficient after care service. You’ll also play an active role in the provision of mentoring the store team as well as providing technical advice and guidance to encourage best practice at all times.

| Requirements |
You’ll need to:
• Be registered with the GOC
• Have achieved the core competencies as specified by ABDO and approved by the GOC
• Demonstrate commercial awareness
• Have some basic IT skills
• Have effective communication skills both verbal and written
You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with good customer service. Team work also forms a big part of our culture so the ability to work well with other people is essential. You’ll also be enthusiastic and willing to help others learn.
