Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Program Coordinator

We are currently looking to fill the role of a Mechanical Integrity Program Inspector to join our Asset Integrity team.

Duties include:

  • Coordinate and maintain Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Program: Ensure program is evergreened. Develop and maintain process unit review schedule. Liason with RBI contract company as required. Maintain RBI manual and procedures.
  • Merge existing PM program with RBI schedule. Develop processes/procedures
  • Develop Piping and Pressure Vessel Inspection Program to ensure compliance with turnaround schedule and deadlines
  • Maintain Operating certificate compliance program
  • Coordinate the implementation of inspection management software
  • Develop and maintain Mechanical Integrity processes and procedures (RBI,QA/WC, MI)
  • Audit compliance to MI processes and procedures (track action items)
  • Develop and track compliance MI program budget
  • Responsible to review and approve Company and departmental inspection procedures and standards and update as required
  • Determines audit schedule of Department Inspection Procedures and Standards, Refinery Mechanical Integrity Manual and Contractor Quality Control programs.  Stewards compliance to schedule.
  • Monitors and provides feedback regarding the performance of Field, Non Destructive Examination (NDE) and Inspection Contractors - stewarded through the Area Inspectors
  • Responsible for ensuring Global Settings in RBI Program are consistent with Refinery Risk Tolerance. Ensuring RBI Inspection levels/grades are consistent with refinery and/or industry standards
  • Responsible for chairing monthly Inspection safety meetings


  • 15 years experience in the following areas:
  • Strong knowledge of all types of fixed equipment, piping and associated inspection activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Company Standards, Industry Recommendation Practices, Codes and Standards and specific computer applications.
  • Development of Inspection plans
  • Project and budget management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Coaching and mentoring ability
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Must demonstrate safety leadership 24/7
  • Must have technical competency as demonstrated by qualifications and certifications, or education in applicable areas of expertise.
  • American Petroleum Institute certifications, Non Destructive Examination certifications
