Community Relations Manager to join our team of professionals.  In this position, you will be responsible for managing all corporate community engagement initiatives which include:

·         Planning and implementing programs to promote community awareness

·         Engage our employees in contributing to our community

·         Improving the reputation of our company within the communities in which we operate.

·         Execution of initiatives including: building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders (internally and externally) to deliver the initiatives, planning/coordinating programs/projects and special projects.


Key responsibilities of this position shall include:

·         Creation and execution of the Community Relations activity for the company, which includes:

      Corporate and Refinery Signature Programs

      Develop and manage Donations and Sponsorships for the company

      Integrating with Marketing teams in the Value Centers to align all community engagement initiatives

·         Understands company plans and issues, and identifies ways to align company objectives with public policy agendas




To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

·         Degree in Public Relations or related field.

·         7-10 years in related field (Marketing, PR, Communications, etc.)

·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, speaking with people at all levels of an organization, ability to express viewpoint and ideas, ability to accept constructive criticism, ability to effectively deal with the media, affinity for teamwork and building relationships.

·         Oral and written communications, analytical, research, understanding of business principles and drivers 

·         Highly motivated, energetic, work independently and with a team

·         Ability to work in fast-paced, fluid, multi-tasking environment

·         Ability to plan as well as to respond to unplanned issues and events

·         Excellent persuasive skills, with the ability to be calm under pressure
